I’ve always been drawn to ritual and the bridge it provides during life transitions.
Perhaps my early career goals of becoming an obstetrician and later an architect were glimpses of the kind of path-building work that has defined my life for the past two decades -- a kind of spiritual midwifery that involves journeying with others through important life experiences, both in grief and celebration.
I’ve done this work in a variety of spaces, offering restorative dance therapy for survivors of sexual abuse in central Peru, counseling homeless women as they reclaim their inner compass, and serving as a Presbyterian minister for ten years, where I developed meaningful ritual practices for all walks of life, both religious and non-religious.
The common denominator in this work is my attention to the sacred and an embodied approach that imbues our complex daily lives with curiosity, comfort, and connection.
As a curator of sacred ritual, I acknowledge and embrace all inter-faith traditions with particular emphasis on the feminine sacred and seasonal earthly cycles. While I am able to incorporate Judeo-Christian wisdom and theology, I promote a more expansive and inclusive spirituality unencumbered by religious doctrine, yet deeply committed to tending to the holy in our individual and communal lives.
I offer rituals for all seasons and life stages, a sampling of which are included below.
