When I left my work as an ordained clergy, I was able to observe the Christmas season with fresh eyes, taking a much-needed pause from the excessive demands of the season. In stepping away from the performativity of religious life, I observed more clearly the ways in which women are often drawn into unsustainable patterns of servanthood, people-pleasing and denial of our own deep spiritual needs, as we curate a season of meaning for others.
As I have re-claim this season in my own life and cultivate more intentional boundaries, I am finding deeper peace in the ancient practices and distinctly female-centered elements of the season. In sharing this space with others, my hope is to inspire a deeper awareness of the inner flame of the feminine sacred, which can guide us into a more sustainable season of healing and wholeness.
If you are looking for a community of seekers grounded in self-reflective spirituality, join me in this individualized wholeness retreat, centered around the Nordic celebrations of Santa Lucia and Winter Solstice.
The retreat includes:
3 one-on-one Zoom sessions scheduled any time between December 1st - December 23rd
Explore of the ancient tradition of the “lighter bearer” and the sacred practice of fire tending
Share griefs and joy, shadows and light, as we honor the reciprocal nature of the solstice
Re-define expectations for this sacred season with refreshed intentions and ritual practice
I look forward to journeying with you on this candle-lit path of depth, honesty, and connection as the season unfolds!
